  • Good gas milage, dirt cheap

got it for less than 22k out of the door, first tank of gas give me 57MPG, city drive is about 53 MPG, but highway drive is where it shines, 64MPG!! my aging 2010 prius is getting me 45MPG over all, can't believe the corolla improved that much gas mileage. TNGA platform feel pretty solid, but that's pretty much about it, it's not a fast car, not a very exciting car, turning is much improved, but nothing to celebrate about. the list of standard feature is amazing, especially the safety features. carplay is standard, which is quite good since if you go with Honda insight, only the EX and up will get you car play. the head unit even have built in 4G, but 2G of data is...meh, I wish they give you a place you can insert your own sim card so I can get more data out of my own data plan instead of subscribing to their data plan. audio is rather horrible, the sound quality of the head unit is worse than average econ box, and you can't change it as it's so integrated with the car. seating space is looong, I am 6 foot tall, yet sitting in driver seat I can still push back about at least 8 more inches, if i put the seat all the way back I actually have difficulty controlling the steering wheel. it's a small car that love tall drivers. overall, the value the MPG is the main selling point, if you want a car that is safe, inexpensive to buy and operate, and burn very few gas, that's the right car for you. it's a very wallet friendly car, not to mention toyota reliability.
  • Too low and noisy engine

Not for snow weather for sure, front is too low.. originally test drove in rain and engine gas shift was noisy when accelerating and pedal friction annoying.. front of car is super low and not too adequate for winter.. on the good side fuel efficiency is superb 650 miles..and once it warmed up engine noise reduces not too much .. purchased only for its fuel efficiency since I drive a lot
  • Best Corolla Ever

driven 1995, 2000, 2005, 2013 and 2016 corolla, this is by far the best in all, very nice interior / exterior, layout is great, gives you good feeling as you sit in, steering position and feel in good, seating position is good, quiet engine for 2.0 L CVT, CVT is refined, enough poor for small car. getting good MPG in city, around 35 MPG.
